Set in a fictional isolated seaside town in the aftermath of a brutal double murder Rondo explores the stories of its inhabitants as they grapple with moving on. Isolated from the outside world after a vicious crime, the denizens of this sleepy town bathe in pools of the past re litigating their personal histories in private until a Stranger stumbles over the wall and forces them to reckon with their past.
This is a devised piece that explores the idea of reconciliation and what it means in Sri Lanka’s current post-war context.
